Welcome... Mage!
You think you're so smart! Think you can escape this little dungeon? Do you have the where-with-all to navigate these foggy halls, and solve the puzzles in your way? Come on in then, MAGE! Let's see what you've got!

Magelusion is a small platforming puzzle game developed for the LowRezJam 2020 in the span of two weeks using the Godot Engine. It is designed for a resolution of 64x64 pixels... soooo... you might want to expand the window a little!

CONTROLS
The game uses WASD for major movements. Space to Jump. CTRL to fire/cast spells. The game also, technically, supports controllers. I've only tested this on Linux with an XBox 1 controller. Your mileage may vary!

If you want to skip a dialog completely, double click the 'CTRL' on the keyboard or 'B' on the (X-Box) controller. I've been told the dialog is a little long, lol :)

If you are interested in my Devlog for Magelusion, it can be found here!

I'd love to hear any and all comments and criticisms for the game!

UPDATE v1.1

Added new options menu for adjusting volumes as well as enabling and disabling in-game dialog (NOTE: Option changes are not persistent).

Much of the dialog has been tweaked and trimmed to make it less... annoying :)

NEW WEB VERSION AVAILABLE!!!!
NOTE: Due to the way particle effects work in the game, the web version may display heavy slowdowns than native desktop versions.

amazing aesthetics of this game, it was an excellent design job.

It took me a while to understand how to interact with the buttons to open the doors, in fact I have difficulties seeing them so far, but the interaction between fire and water was interesting...

Congratulations on your creation.

I liked the graphics very much. Godot´s lighting is impressive and you used it well. There was a lot of story. Overall this is a good game. -oneak
